He went out of his way to find me the best possible rate, while others (Northpoint) made it seem like they were pulling teeth to try and get me a rate a full point higher than what Evan offered. He takes pride in saving people money, and is very knowledgeable in VA loans. He has connections everywhere and is able to get things done lightning fast. Trust me, do not waste your time with anyone else on island, you'll just end up with a migraine dealing with these other jokers.

After seeing a negative review here I was hesitant about using First Liberty and Brice McLaughlin despite a recommendation from our realtor. I opted to follow our realtor's advice, and couldn't have been happier. I personally found Brice to be great to do business with. He was very responsive, was happy to share his insight on different areas of the island, and even gave his thoughts on which brands of kitchen appliances were easiest to get serviced. I wouldn't hesitate to work with him again. First Liberty was great, as well. Competitive rates, transparency, an online document portal, and reasonable and timely requests for loan documents.
